Invictus is a beautifully crafted poem by William Ernest Henley. Gallop, 40 x 60 cm

Tried my first larger format painting. Stayed with horses. This time tried to see how I could get a sense of high speed movement and power. Victory; philosophy for the day!

Mohammed Ali said it so simply, and this philosophy is so apt to live life by! When success and victory are the only visual the mind can see, it's usually what comes our way.
